A few days ago, a Hummingbird Clearwing Moth (Hemaris thysbe) was nectaring at the Eastern Blazingstar (Liatris scariosa)

The Clearwing went to the Ironweed (Vernonia arkansana) to feed.  Its coloration mimics the spent blooms so perfectly.
