It's no secret that I love birds. However, there are some birds that are simply exquisite beyond description. And, when they grace my presence, it's truly an amazing offering. The Blackburnian is one such bird. He takes my breath away! For the second time this spring, the 'Firethroat' enjoyed bathing in the bubbler, and he was one of my Mother's Day gifts.

I think he enjoyed the experience as much as I did, the little whirling dervish!
The Blackpoll Warbler is not one I've photographed often. In fact, it's been 8 years since I photographed a male! I've been hearing one for days and yesterday, he finally came down to investigate the bubbler. There are more photos of him in the 2014 Warbler Gallery, having a spit-spat with a Chestnut-sided Warbler.

This is a Bay-breasted Warbler, another one who can get my heart racing. He was a bit timid and stayed hidden, as is often the case. I hope he'll stick around after the rain passes through.
