A trio of Rusty Blackbirds visited the bubbler briefly at 3 p.m. on Monday, November 17.  They have not returned, but I managed to get this photo.  The last few years, we've seen a good number fairly regularly through the winter.

I was away on Thursday, November 20, for a good part of the morning.  Later, I checked the bubbler cam video recording to see what had been at the bubbler.  I put together this short video of what I believe to be a pied American Robin.  It appears to have a splotchy breast and bright white wing bars.  It lands on the lower left side of the bubbler pond, then flies to the other side and works its way to the basin to get several drinks.  It perches briefly on the large branch behind the basin before flying off.

The next morning, I watched the bubbler fairly closely, hoping to see this robin again.  It didn't show, but I did have the first Pine Siskin of the year, making it #101 for the year list.  It came in with a number of American Goldfinches.
